6 AHA Training Centers Honestly Reviewed 2025

If you’re looking to earn American Heart Association (AHA) accredited certifications and take certified courses, then you need to choose the right provider. You can’t just choose any random company you come across and cross your fingers for the best. You need to research, you need to consider all of the elements necessary to make a choice, and then you need to weigh it all up.

It’s a lot to do and there are a lot of providers, which is why we’ve written this article. We’re going to look at 6 of the best in the business to help give you a starting point. Ready? Let’s get into it.

Safety Training Seminars

First up on this list and one of the best that we’ve ever heard of is Safety Training Seminars. With so many locations throughout California and a couple of others to boot, the flexibility offered by Safety Training Seminars is fantastic. You can do most of your courses online if you want, or you are able to have a more classroom based experience if this works better for you. Offering courses for both medical professionals and the general public, everyone can learn what they need.

Safety Training Seminars are known for their dedication to quality, and their brilliant staff teaching the courses. On top of that, the in-depth nature of the courses means that everyone who gets certified is deeply knowledgeable in the certified area. The downside to this company is that you must ensure you choose the right trainer to get the most out of your training, and a factor of this is location. This means that if you are not inside California but you want to do classroom based work, it might not be the ideal fit for you.

College of The Albemarle

Next up on the list of our certified AHA training providers is College of The Albemarle. If you’ve never heard of this place you’re not alone because it’s quite the hidden little gem, but one you should learn all about if you get the chance. This training center is the only one in the area, and if you wish to do your courses online, you will still need to demonstrate your practical skills to an instructor to pass your course. Doing it this way ensures that you are ready to be certified!

The only downside to this is that it means if you’re not from North Carolina, it can be a bit of a trek to get your certification.

OSF

Issuing around 10,000 certifications per year and having been in the business since 1999, you can rest assured that OSF knows what they are doing. They are a full training center, and pride themselves on offering quality to both medical professionals and the public, depending on the course that is being taken.

With fantastic tutors and academics on the team, course content is in-depth and explained in a way that everyone can understand. OSF feels passionately about catering to as many people as possible, and that’s exactly what they do.

On the downside, some have said in the past it can be tricky to get extra support and guidance where it’s needed, which can pose issues.

Healthforce Training Center

Safety is the main focus of Healthforce Training Center, with this being at the heart of everything they do. As one of the best AHA certified training centers out there, you would expect nothing less though. Their staff go above and beyond, ensuring that all of the classroom lessons are engaging to keep everyone interested, but also offer the flexible option for you to do your course online. Once you’ve completed this, you will need to demonstrate your skills at the training center to earn your full certification to ensure that you are safe in your practice.

The downside of this company is that it has been reported that the feedback for those completing online courses is limited. This could make it more difficult to improve and see the results that are desired.

Vitali

If you’re searching for hands-on, high-energy training, then Vitali is the place to be. If you’re not someone who learns well from textbooks, or you’re not someone who finds that demonstrations are your best friend, then you will thrive with the courses on offer here. All of the instructors are fully qualified to provide the correct certifications, with plenty of experience behind them so that you know you are getting the best. You don’t have to worry about quality with Vitali, because it’s their middle name.

They are let down slightly with the disorganization that some people have complained about. Many have reported that the feedback and support is lacking, which isn’t ideal.

CPR Suppliers

Finally, CPR Suppliers are the last option on our list. With centers in a range of locations, you will find that this company is able to support a whole range of people, no matter where you are. If you look on the website, there is a location finger which shows you the closest center to where you live.

They pride themselves on offering a hassle free company that provides you with what you need without making your life complicated.  You can even create a free account to see what is available on their website, with no obligation to actually sign up for any courses.

Again, the support is the downside with this company, with some people saying that they would have liked it a little more if they felt more supported throughout their certification journey.

When it comes down to making the decision, the ultimate choice lies with you. You need to make sure that you are choosing the provider who seems the best fit for yourself or for your group, depending on how you’re planning to train. Look at all of the pros and cons, as well as the other elements that need considering and then you can go from there. But hopefully this article gave you some valuable help!
