Solar is an excellent option for anyone who might not have the chance to invest in a dedicated fossil fuel generator. As long as you have a large enough array and a decent battery storage system, you should be able to run a small home and peripherals indefinitely. But they are expensive and simply don’t have the same amount of power as a fuel generator.
